Day 12 - Releasing Control

            Scripture:
"For I know the plans I have for you ‘declares the Lord,’ plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future" Jeremiah 29:11

"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross
daily and follow me" Luke 9:23

“Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
            understanding.”
                                                       Proverbs 3:5-6

            Reflection:
When we ask for or desire things we tend to want to control the outcome by
doing certain things that WE can imagine. Or we obsess and worry over the
outcome and details. However, if you are doing that work, how can God do what
you couldn't even imagine? Science tells us that 2 things cannot occupy the same
space at the same time. So why do we say we have faith BUT try to control?

This is our greatest barrier to truly walking in trust. Releasing control tests our
ability to tune in and tune out all the outside noise and opinions. We have to get
intentional. When the worry demon tries to get you, use a simple phrase like "I
trust the divine" to get you back on track! Our manifestations and blessings are
delayed or missed because we aren't still enough to see the everyday miracles.

Affirm to release control. Affirm to only direct yourself to do what the divine
instructs of you as you are still. Ask for unwavering trust through the process. I
believe generational blessings are coming to you when you do.

            Today, I release Control.
