Day 11 - We are “Free” to Serve one another in Love
Scripture:
“For you were called to be free, brothers (sisters); only don’t use this freedom
as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.” Galatians
5:13
Reflection:
Freedom to serve one another in Love is the Christian way!
In this scripture lesson Apostle Paul is teaching the Jewish leaders that salvation
is a free gift from God through faith. This same lesson applies to us today. When
we present the gospel message, we must make sure we clearly explain that
salvation is God’s free gift; this gift can only be received by faith in Jesus Christ.
In order to minister to people effectively, we must develop pastoral hearts. We
must become servants of God and one another. Then we will experience true
freedom in our relationship with one another and reflect the fruit of the Spirit
which is LOVE.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you your Son Jesus, who taught us that we are free by
faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for teaching us that we are to help our fellow
Christians who are in bondage to works of the flesh to experience true freedom
in Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
