Day 8 - I Will Show Myself Approved

Scripture:
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Reflection:
I saw the following message on the back of a truck marked "Soul" Patrol (Bull
City Outreach Ministries). I read it, then read it again, then said it aloud.

IF SINNERS BE DAMNED AT LEAST LET THEM LEAP TO HELL OVER
OUR BODIES; LET THEM GO WITH OUR ARMS AROUND THEIR
KNEES; LET NO ONE GO THERE UNWARNED OR UNPRAYED FOR.

Wow! Let the Church say "Amen!"
Rev. Dr. William Robert Porter once said "You can't teach what you don't know
and you can't lead where you won't go." It is important for us to know and
understand the Bible so that we can reach out to others with the Good News of
Jesus Christ. You never know - yours just may be the word that changes
someone's life! By doing this, you can be assured that if they go, they go by their
choice and not by your negligence as a child of God.

I will study the word of God and show myself approved.

Prayer:
Dear God, help us each day to first study Your Word, then share Your Word and
our testimony with others. Bless us to be a blessing that we may encourage
others to trust and love You as we do. In the Name of Jesus, we thank You.
Amen.
