E.2 Conducts of Extension Activities
The conduct of extension activities is one of the mandates of the university.
Latest technologies needed by the clientele are disseminated through
seminars/trainings which is usually a joint effort of faculty and students. After
every seminar/training, post evaluation/follow up activities is also conducted to
verify if the said seminar/training helped elevate the life of the clients.

F. Student Support and Assistance

The Institution has different offices/services that support and assist students in
their needs focusing on students’ welfare, growth and development. There are
free services offered like dental, health, guidance counselling, scholarships,
sports opportunities and socio-cultural activities for the students to showcase
their talent, custom, tradition and skills as well.

Among the programs and services of the university which is managed by the
Department of Student Services and Development are the following in General:

Spiritual Development. The Campus Christian Fellowship, an
interdenominational group and the Catholic Campus Ministry provide
opportunities for the spiritual development of students. The university has
institutionalized the holding of a fellowship every Wednesday which is open to
all members of the IFSU family.

Recreational, Social and Cultural. This unit provides activities for the wise
use of leisure time, development of personality, self-confidence, sportsmanship,
social and cultural talents of students. It also helps promote and preserve the
worthwhile practices of the Cordillera in general and the Ifugao in particular.
