3.1 Management of Instruction
3.1.1 Educational Qualification of Faculty
To ensure that quality education is provided to students, it is very important
that its faculty members possess the proper qualification that will equip them to
handle the general, professional and core subjects in the curriculum.
The College is manned by a competent and qualified educators and professional
practitioners with respect with their field of expertise who have met the
experience and educational requirements set by the Commission on Higher
Education, the Civil Service Commission and the Ifugao State University.
Below is a graph showing the percentage of the educational attainment of the
respective core faculty members of the College of Computing Sciences. Twenty
six (26%) percent of its faculty members has a Doctorate Degree while fifty eight
(58%) of its faculty members has Master’s Degree and lastly, sixteen (16%)
percent of its faculty members were finishing their Master’s Degree.

Among the Core Faculty, One (1) of them was a Doctor’s Degree holder and eight
(8) were all Master’s Degree holder. Nonetheless five (5) of them were enrolled in
the Ph.D. program or have earned units and one (1) is expected to graduate this
year. While the Non-core faculty, one of each the three faculty members has
Doctorate Degree, Master’s Degree and currently taking–up Master’s Degree
program
