receive solid training to perform their duties and

were to occur, the average person will see a uniform
and expect that person to know what to do and what
information is available. It comes down to being

on a daily basis. We believe that proper training and
oficer safety mentality must go hand in hand. Private
Oficer International has been spearheading efforts to
raise awareness and promote proper training.
Many states, including Connecticut, are seeking to
raise the number of training hours and subject matter
before a security oficer license is issued to include
yearly or bi-yearly refresher training. Some employers
do not have a program to support
