However, it is the category of professional learning that is key and infuses
collaboration as part of a learning culture between peers through classroom
observation and feedback. This fosters a sense of community. Apart from
professional development, leader capacity needs to be built. The need to
cultivate to teacher leaders is critical to driving the transformation from
the middle.
Not only do we need to establish the processes, standards, and workflow,
but also allow them time for planning. MSteam allows for collaboration and
sharing for resources and even has a PLN (Personal Learning Network)
OneNote template to facilitate the start-up. Structured and personalised
learning needs to be combined (and shared) to create effective learning
opportunities. This step is reasonably easily attainable as the organisation
is already structured in subject and grade teams.
TECHNOLOGY BLUEPRINT
In terms of technology, I will not labour the point as I have
explained in detail how the affordances of technology
allow us to generate a learning culture as well as a
modern curriculum. As part of this framework, this
component’s goal is to: “A reliable, responsive and data-
driven technology environment empowering teachers, learners and
administrators to achieve more every day in the modern classroom.”
(Microsoft, 2020). The architecture should be designed based on the
