Intermediate-Low
This curriculum is based on the following Ulpan-Or® study kits and publications:

    1. Level Bet - Dialogue study kit – Part 1
    2. Verbs & Grammar - Intermediate Level (Present Tense – Pa'al)
    3. Ulpan-Or® Interactive Electronic Newspaper: E-Tone™ - Intermediate level

    4. My Hebrew Songs (Intermediate Level)

This level broadens the vocabulary and grammatical structures acquired in level Aleph. By the
end of level Bet, the student has a good feel and orientation in the structure of the Hebrew
language.
• Comprehension: Listening to the news, recorded radio programs and lectures in

         converted into easy Hebrew.
• Conversation: Conversations, discussions and short lectures based on the Ulpan-Or®

         "Level Bet Dialogue" kit.
• Reading: Passages from stories and texts adapted into intermediate level Hebrew; short

         newspaper articles converted into intermediate level Hebrew.
• Writing: Writing structured compositions and short passages on the topics studied .
• Grammatical Skills: Elaboration of basic structures, completion of present tense for 5

         main groups, use of prepositions. Gain understanding and applied knowledge of using the
         grammar in dialogues.

Intermediate-Mid
This curriculum is based on the following Ulpan-Or® study kits and publications:

    1. Level Bet-Gimel Dialogue study kit – Part 2
    2. Verbs & Grammar – Mid-Intermediate Level (Present Tense-Rest of Binyanim)
    3. Ulpan-Or® Interactive Electronic Newspaper: E-Tone™ - intermediate level

    4. My Hebrew Songs (Intermediate Level)

At this level transition from easy to regular Hebrew occurs. After completing this level students
are able to express their feelings, thoughts and experiences in Hebrew.
• Comprehension: Listening to the news, recorded radio programs in intermediate-level

         Hebrew.
• Conversation: Conversations, discussions and short lectures based on Ulpan-Or®

         "Situations and Media" study kit.
• Reading: Gradual transition from the easy Hebrew press to simple bulletins and articles

         in regular Hebrew, reading of books in easy Hebrew.
• Writing: Writing about personal experiences and structured compositions.
• Grammatical Skills: Syntactic study of main structures and past tense. Being able to use

         the grammatical knowledge and apply it for free conversation.
