tertiary, and Graafian follicles. granulosa cells (contain aromatase) to
utilize in estrogen synthesis

ESTROGENS

Three main estrogens Transport

• estradiol, estrone & estriol ➔ The most potent is Transported in blood bound to sex
estradiol. steroid–binding globulin (SSBG)

• Estrone & estriol are formed in peripherals, & & albumin
secreted in conc. during pregnancy, respectively
