2. Take the working end over the standing part and back up
through the loop. Tighten the knot by pulling simultaneously on
the working end and the standing end.
3. This knot reduces the strength of a rope or cordage by as much
as 55 percent. remove unwanted overhands from mid-rope as
soon as possible.
