    Symptoms of methemoglobinemia include:
        Pale, gray or blue-colored skin, lips and nail beds Shortness of breath
        Fatigue
        Confusion & headache Light-
        headedness
        Rapid heart rate

4. Antiseptic

    Chlorhexidine (POM) (mouthwashes, gel,…)
     Antiseptic and disinfectant agent

Herpes Simplex/Cold Sores/Fever Blisters

    Fluid filled blisters
    Contracted during childhood
    Located at the junction of oral mucosa and the skin of the lip and nose
    The viruses is latent & become reactivated secondary to certain stimuli: fever, physical or
    emotional stress & ultraviolet light exposure
    Most recurrent episodes of herpes are preceded by a prodromic phase: tingling, itching or
    redness. These can last for up to 24 hours before lesion development
