2. Khellin (topically with UV light) has been usedfor photo
therapeutic treatment of psoraisis and virtiligo ( leukoderma,
skin depigmentation).
*Khellin phototherapeutic properties are similar tothose of the
psoralens, but with lower phototoxic and DNA mutation
effects.
3.Ammi visnaga extracts ( tea or pills) relieve renalcolic ,due
to diuretic , smooth muscle relaxing effects and the inhibition of
calcium
oxalate kidney stone formation (khellin alonehad no
effect)
