5. Duragesic® (Fentanyl)
▪ It is an opioid analgesic indicated for management of severe
chronic pain (cancer pain).
▪ Dose: 25-100 mcg/h, reapplied every 72h (3 days) until
adequate analgesia is achieved.

6. Ortho Evra® (Ethinyl estradiol /Norelgestromin)

▪ It is a combination transdermal hormonal contraceptive system It
is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy.

▪ It may be less effective in preventing pregnancy in women who
weigh 90 kg or more (why??).

▪ A new patch is applied each week for three weeks (21 total days).
Week Four is patch-free.

▪ Every new patch should be applied on the same day of the week.

7. Zecuity™ (Sumatriptan)
▪ ZECUITY™ (sumatriptan iontophoretic transdermal system) is a

disposable, single use system designed to deliver sumatriptan
through the skin.
▪ ZECUITY™ is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine.
▪ ZECUITY™ iontophoretic transdermal system is composed of an
iontophoretic device and a drug reservoir card.
▪ The reservoir card contains 2 medications pads one for
sumatriptan succinate and the other for a sodium salt.
