4- Strophiole: is a local enlargement over position of the raphe as in
           Colchicum

   5- Wing: It is a membranous extension of the testa , a short wing is
           found at the base of Strophathus seed

   6- Plume of hairs: Formed from the apex of a seed.The plume is
           usually sessile , but may be borne on a slender stalk and called awn
           as in Strophanthus.

Outgrowth of Testa :

The Kernel: This term is usually used to indicate all the tissues enclosed
within the testa.
It may consist simply of the embryo alone (exalbuminous seed)
or of the embryo surrounded by endosperm or perisperm or both
(albuminous seed) .
