Embryo:
Embryo is developed from the fertilized ovum.
It consists of:
Plumule: that gives the plant shoot after seed germination.
Radicle: the primary root meristematic part.
Cotyledons: according to the number of cotyledons angiosperms are
classified into:
a- Monocotyledons: one cotyledon. b- Dicotyledons: two cotyledons.
Hypocotyl: the region between the base of cotyledons and the top of the
radicle.
