2- Separation of diasteriomeric derivatives on non chiral stationary phase.
In chiral derivatization , optically pure reagent (enantiopure) reacts with
one specific functional group of the enantiomer → two diasteriomeric
derivatives of each enantiomer, separated on non chiral stationary phase.
