Khand is the door or entrance to the Divine mansion, the Sach Khand.
Sach Khand: After traveling through the four stages on our spiritual journey, we
arrive at the fifth and the final stage, the Sach Khand, the Realm of
Truth/Waheguru. The mission of human life- to merge with the Great Truth is
achieved here. Sach Khand is the Sikh concept of Liberation from the cycle of
birth and rebirth. Only a chosen few achieve this.
The 38 paudi describes the effort and discipline of obtaining direct
th
communication from Waheguru in form of Sabad.
The closing salok emohasizes the role of air, water and earth in our lives. It urges
us to do good deeds, as we are being watched by Waheguru. This Salok glorifies
the person who remembers Waheguru and accepts the will of God.
