The third Shabad rejects all modes of rituals of Aarti. The entire universe is
doing Aarti. Instead of trays with lamps placed upon them with incense and other
offerings, the sky becomes a platter, the sun and the moon become lamps, stars
become pearls, the wind does the Chaur, and all vegetation becomes flowers. Loud
chanting of Mantras is replaced by the Anahad (unstruck) melody.

in all humanity? Have we read Gurbani? Have we tried to see our wrongdoing and
make amends? Have we tried to transform our mind to become a Gurmukh in our
actions?
Guru Ji encourages us to recognize our purpose of life- which is to enlighten our
mind, connect with Gurbani, and do good deeds. Reciting Sohila daily is a beautiful
and blessed way of life. It keeps our thoughts in perspective no matter what
