BSA NETWORKING & AGM
On Thursday (the 25th of July) the Beverage
Standards Association (BSA) held a
networking event at Bestir in Dunstable.
Over 25 people attended from different
sectors of the hospitality market to discuss
business trends for the future.
The BSA also held its annual AGM and one of
its Directors - Angus McKenzie - talked about
the success of the Association over the last
twelve months in financial and benefit terms
for the membership.
Martyn Herriott took the opportunity to
discuss the benefits - and challenges - of Barista
training within the Association. However, with

the support of 12 Approved
training centers around the UK
with 14 accredited trainers, over
150 candidates have been
trained in the last 12 months.
Alongside this has been the
continued growth in the
Association's eMagazine
Something's Brewing which
reaches approximately 7,000
readers. The editorship team of
Martyn Herriott & Angus
Mckenzie confirmed that the
magazine was continuing to grow
in popularity.

Also, the Association will be
exhibiting at Caffe Culture on the
1st & 2nd of October at the
Business Design Centre, London

supporters of the Association
