Dr. Shagun Kapoor graduated with MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, in
2019. She went on to pursue MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the All India Institute of Medical
Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi after completing her postgraduate training in 2023, currently she
is pursuing superspecialty training as a MCh (MCh stands for Master of Chirurgiae {or Magister
Chirurgiae}, a specialized, postgraduate, super-specialty degree in surgery awarded in India)
resident in Gynecologic Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi, with a focused interest in advancing care
for women with gynecological cancers.
