Definitive host - Man.
Infective stage - Cyst
Mode of infection ❖ Ingestion of cysts in faecal contaminated food or
water of farm animals
Diagnostic stage - Cyst and trophozoites
Site of localization - Large intestine
Diagnosis
• Cysts-formed stools
• Active trophs-diarrheic stools.
