NOSTALGIA
Ex-Management Trainee (MT) Training Experience
th
I am a MT of 37 batch who joined HAL in December 2018.
I would like to place on record that MT training imparted by HAL is one of the best in India.
When I compared our MT training module with other PSUs and private organizations, I found that
our programme is one of the best structured and efficiently managed. Both HMA and TTC play a
very significant role in maintaining this efficiency.
TTC has a special mention in the memories of our training days, as it was at TTC that we got
familiarized with Avionics Division, Hyderabad. The guidance received regarding what to expect on
job, how to steer one's career path and how to create one’s own image is helping me till date. During
our training, before allotment of our departments, we were shown around 10 movies. After each
movie, we were asked about management lessons we learnt from it. I would like to express that, all
through my life I had watched a lot of movies but none of those had an impact on me like the 10
movies which we watched in TTC because there, we were taught to watch movies to learn vital
lessons of life and not to watch just for entertainment. Since then, I have developed a habit of
learning from movies which has subsequently helped me to learn a lot of things. I would like to thank
Cm(Trg) for changing my approach towards watching movies.
Not just during the course of MT training, TTC has been instrumental in all other trainings
imparted till date by Avionics division and HMA. The response which we get on any query is crystal
clear and straight to the point. This saves a lot of time.
Also, recently I happen to involve in an incident where an apprentice from my department
(finishing shop) passed away in a train accident and TTC had facilitated all necessary proceedings.
The efforts and concerns shown by TTC are commendable. Also, praiseworthy is the support shown
for fund raising campaign for the family of deceased. This incidence has shown us the soft side of
divisional HR of which TTC is a part.
Personally, I would like to thank Cm(Trg) for all the support TTC has extended. Cm(Trg)
concern for me during the tough times when I was preparing for prestigious exams and also your
motivation and counseling has helped me a lot.
Thank you once again sir.
