8 March 2005

The founding and certification ceremony party was held at the Palazzo Versace Hotel. Over 200
distinguished guests attended, including Ms Liao-Yu Lin (林廖玉), chairwoman of GFCBW, and Ms
Jui-Chin Ko Tu (柯杜瑞琴), honorary chairwoman from GFCBW. Forty-five members travelled from
overseas to be at Gold Coast to witness the founding ceremony for the Australian chapter.

29 March 2005

The Mind and Body workshop was held by Clinical Psychologist, Huang Ruizhen (黃瑞貞) who
discussed: 1.emotion and communication, 2.the myth of marriage, 3.a why don’t you understand
Me? 4.Segment, the silent concern of a happy woman and 5.being a positive and independent
woman.

2 April 2005

A half day tour occurred at Twin Towns, visiting Twin Towns service club, enjoying coffee,
sightseeing, music, dance and even an small attempt at gambling. After a delicious dinner everyone
returned to their homes.

A one day tour of Springbrook transpired where people travelled by bus visiting the glow worms
cave and enjoying a lunch at an English style restaurant. There was also hiking to a waterfall and
wine tasting.
14 April 2005

The opening party was held at our new office (clubhouse), where our supervisor, Lin Yini

(林奕妮), offered part of her office building for our organisation to use. We were open to the public.

21 April 2005

The Audi group held an investment lecture at the ANA hotel, analysing the current real estate
market in Australia and Beijing, and sharing some investment strategies.

1-4 May 2005

There was a welcoming to Mother’s Day that included a special three days of a harmony crystal
necklace making workshop by teacher, Ms Ganny.

7 May 2005

The Mother’s Day family BBQ was held at the Rhode community. Over 30 people attended and
enjoyed so much yummy food, and a lucky draw. Almost everyone received a prize. An incredibly
happy day for all.

10 May 2005

Launching Pretty and Hot, a new ladies painting class, held every Wednesday at 10:00am at our
clubhouse, directed by Mr. Liu Songlin (劉松林).
