            2007 New Tang Dynasty Television event included a global Chinese new year party special,
            beautiful traditional Chinese costumes, elite performing art troupe, the magnificent dance, gorgeous
            canopy, all brought the audience a profound experience of ancient China.
            23 March 2007

            A tax lecture was offered around understanding your pension and policies. This event was
            presented at the corporate centre in the WMS meeting room. There were over 30 members from
            GFCBWA who attended.
            18 May 2007

            KPMG organised a special tax seminar for GFCBWA, helping members to understand the policies
            and regulations of retirement pensions and superannuation etc. Over 20 members attended this
            seminar.

            Prada’s new product launch party was held, a special GFCBWA member exclusive new product
            launch party with champagne and special discounts. There were around 30 ladies who attended this
            event.

            6 June 2007

            A special tour, visiting the famous Yenmart pastry art came about where we could watch how the
            famous delicious Australian cakes were made and we enjoyed tasting them. Approximately 30
            members attended this cake tour.

            The Queensland Government’s New Immigrant Entrepreneurship Business lectures of 2007 was
            held, inviting some successful entrepreneurs to share their experiences.

            A crystal jewellery DIY workshop was held at the Pink Piggy Crystal Charm, by instructor, Miss
            Ganny.




            10 August 2007

            The second general meeting and inauguration ceremony of directors and supervisors of GFCBWA
            was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel. The VIP guests attending the event included, Mr. and Mrs. Ron
            Clarke, the Mayor of Gold Coast, Director general of Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office Brisbane,
            Mr. James Tian (田光中),  Brisbane city councillor, Cr. Graham Quirk and all the representatives
            from different local communities. Over 200 people attended this gala dinner party. GFCBWA has
            become an indispensable, important league in the multicultural community of Queensland.

            7 September 2007
            A special cake tour transpired where we visited the famous Australian Yenmart pastry art, watching
            how the world famous delicious Australian cakes were made, and learning why the Brunei Royal (王
            萊王室) family favour their cakes and made special orders. Let us enjoy tasting these beautiful
            cakes and feel the sweet taste of love!
