Veracruz Sauce Llano Grande Drama Club
from the kitchen of Cafe Grande presents
Ingredients: Performances in the Rec Hall
½ cup Bell peppers-diced February 26, 27, 28, 2018
½ cup Onions-diced
½ cup Carrots- diced TICKETS $15 - DINNER THEATRE
½ cup Celery- diced TICKETS ON SALE IN THE EVENT CENTER:
¼ cup Capers Thu. Feb. 1st - following Park Meeting to 10:30 a.m.
½ cup Tomatoes- diced Wednesday, February 7th - 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.
1/ 2 cup Sliced black olives
16 oz. can tomato sauce Please contact Jayne Wilson (956) 825-7011
½ tsp. garlic powder if you have additional questions.
½ tsp. onion powder
¼ tsp. black pepper UPCOMING CANADIAN
3 bay leaves SOCIAL EVENT
3-tsp. chicken base for stock
1 cup corn starch
Sautéed vegetables with butter or
margarine until tender.
Need a stock pot with ½ gal water.
Add the chicken base and bay
leaves to the water. Add the garlic,
onion powder, and black
pepper. Add the sautéed vegetables
into the stock pot.
Pour some corn starch into a mixing
bowl and whisk with water.
Gradually add the dissolved corn
starch into the stock pot. Whisk sauce,
slowly the sauce will begin to thicken.
Let the sauce come to a boil for about
5-8 minutes. Let sauce rest for about
5-minutes. Sauce is ready to pour over
your dish. (Fish or Chicken)
