WELLNESS HALF DAYS ON MEDICINE AND HEALTH HOURS ON PEDIATRICS
These are designated hours during weekdays throughout the year to get things done, make routine
appointments (urgent appointments are always covered!), or just take some time for yourself!
WELLNESS ACTIVITIES THROUGH CATEGORICAL & MED/PEDS PROGRAMS!
Some of our past activities have included: Sea World Day, San Diego Zoo, hiking, camping
ALL INTERNS ARE SCHEDULED WITH A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST THEIR FIRST YEAR
There are many mental health resources available, including a robust confidential online program with
psychological support (HEAR program), telehealth mental health visits through housestaff insurance
available 24/7 including weekends.
We will be here for you throughout your residency, to celebrate your special
moments and achievements but also to support you during difficult times.
