Hobbies I like to read, cook things that take all day, travel and knit
things that have four sides.
Family and Pets My husband Noel and I will be celebrating 25 years of
marriage this November and we have a 14-year-old
daughter, Sophia in her first year of high school. She now
gives me hand me down shoes and insists that we are the
same height. We also have a dog-named Reagan who is 3.5
years old. He is a rescue and is ¼ Australian Shepherd and
¼ Collie but we do not know the other ½ because he has an
absentee father. He likes to bloop us with his nose and take
loud naps while he snores.
Favorite Part about UCSD Med Peds I have been here with UCSD MP for the past 15 years and I
love our residents! I love how they work so hard with joy
and the way they support each other throughout the years.
It is incredible how much they love seeing each other and
spending time together! And they make excellent
physicians, so much so that we have our own grads as PCPs
for the entire family!
Favorite Med Peds Moment Seriously, so many memories…I love our annual business
retreats where we get to spend a whole day together. I
always find it interesting that our residents are so nice,
thoughtful, and chill, yet when there are games involved,
that competitive edge comes through and it reminds me
that this is why they are MP! They may be kind, love the
underserved, smart but definitely self-motivated and
pursue excellence in all that they do, even playing games at
the beach!
