• O.1 The curriculum is responsive and relevant to the demands of the times
The Curricular Content covers all the necessary theoretical and practical concepts
necessary in order to develop and train students until they become competent novice
nurse. The provision of hands on training for students in their Related Learning
Experience (Clinical and Skills Lab) and Laboratory classes provides the development of
skills and confidence for them to be able to perform their job once they finish their
academics. These provisions in the curriculum covers the extent of professional and
technical preparation of its graduates. There is a systematic chronological placement of
subjects including a clear placement of prerequisite subjects.
Validation of subjects is available so that students coming from non-SUCs are
               accommodated
the curricular contents are enough to prepare a student in the different fields of
nursing, be that in the community or in the hospital settings. There are also subjects
which addresses the national developmental goals as well as the institutional mission
and vision. The curriculum also integrates values reflective of national customs, culture
and traditions. The curriculum is also enhanced with provision of some institutionally
identified subjects to prepare the graduates with the current social and environmental
issues they might encounter in their fields.
the Curriculum complies with the CMO 15 s. 2017. it did not undergo the
rigorous curriculum development in participation with stakeholders because it is a
Prescribed curriculum by the Commission on Higher Education

               CONCLUSION
The curriculum is responsive and relevant to the demands of the times.
