I.2. Dialogues are regularly conducted by the administration with the:
I.2.2. students
Dialogues with the students are done every flag ceremonies, student activities
like Nursing day, Capping, Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony and other students’
activities. The Dean of the college gives updates to the students about activities of the
college and the administration officers gives motivational talks with students .
I.3. Quality instruction is assured through the following strategies:
I.3.1. conducting seminar/ workshop on syllabi making
On March 16, 2018, the Commission on Higher Education conducted a Workshop
on Syllabi making. Included in the syllabi making seminar is the making of mission and vision
of the College, institutional outcomes and the goals of the College. The course plan were
also discussed. After the seminar, all faculties have undergone workshop in doing the course
syllabi.
I.3.2. holding workshops on test construction and the corresponding table of specifications;
On June 3, 2019, the College Conducted a workshop in test construction. Our
guest was Dr. Grace Gumpal. The speaker discussed how to identify easy, moderate and
difficult questions. She also explained how to make points for essay exams.
I.3.3.conducting competency assessment;
ClinicalInstructors were instructed to do demonstration of activities that they will
teach to students. Some of the examples in the demonstration is the identification of
surgical instruments and gloving and gowning techniques in operationg room.
I.3.4. conducting supervisory visit of classes and providing assistance, if necessary;
During the online class, the deanand the program chair enters the online class randomly to
monitor and evaluate the performance of the instructor.
I.3.5. holding of regular faculty meetings;
Meetings were done regularly during the following
1. Before the start of the sem for the review and distribution of workloads
2. Before important actvities to organize committe
3. At the end of the sem for submission of grades
4. During emergency meetings (for other matters)
