Pleasant Words from the Gospel
will receive, and your joy will be complete. (John, 16:23-24)
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same
Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for,
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Ro-
mans, 10:12-13)
I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you
with power... in your inner being... And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all
the saints [who devote themselves to God], to grasp how wide and
long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love
that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure
of all the fullness of God. Now to Him Who is able to do immea-
surably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power
that is at work within us. (Ephesians, 3:19-20)
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in or-
der that you may know the hope to which He has called you
[God's promise], the riches of His glorious inheritance [paradise]
in the saints [who devote themselves to God], and His incompa-
rably great power for us who believe. (Ephesians, 1:18-19)
