That God Kills and
Resurrects
... This happened that we might not rely
on ourselves but on God... (2 Corinthians, 1:9)
Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises
the dead? (Acts, 26:8)
In the Sight of God, Who gives life to everything... (1 Timo-
thy, 6:13)
He Who... will also give life to your mortal bodies through
His Spirit, Who lives in you... (Romans, 8:11)
As it is written: "I have made you [Abraham] a father of many
nations." He is our father in the Sight of God, in Whom he
[Abraham] believed—the God Who gives life to the dead and
calls things that are not as though they were. (Romans, 4:17)
The God Who made the world and everything in it is the Lord
of heaven and earth... He himself gives all men life and breath
and everything else. (Acts, 17:24-25)
For just as the Lord raises the dead... (John, 5:21)
