Pleasant Words from the Gospel

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one
another. (1 John, 4:11)

Don't be deceived, my dear brothers... Every good and perfect
gift comes from God. (James, 1:16-17)

Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are
older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one
another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to
the humble." (1 Peter, 5:5)

... God of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory after
you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and
make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for
ever and ever. (1 Peter, 5:10-11)

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and
through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blame-
less at the coming of... Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians, 5:23)

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you
peace at all times and in every way. The
Lord be with all of you. (2 Thessalonians,
3:16)
