That God is the Provider
... It is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but
it is my Lord Who gives you the true bread from heaven.
(John, 6:32)
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you
will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is
not life more important than food, and the body more impor-
tant than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow
or reap or store away in barns, and yet God feeds them. Are
you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew, 6:25-26)
... He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and
crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food
and fills your hearts with joy. (Acts, 14:17)
His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to
generation... He has filled the hungry with good things but
has sent the rich away empty. (Luke, 1:50-53)
