Pleasant Words from the Gospel

Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry

about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you
will wear... Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they
have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much
more valuable you are than birds! (Luke, 12:22-24)

That God is All-Loving, Endower and
                                        Compassionate

His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to
                   generation. (Luke, 1:50)

... The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. (James, 5:11)

Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun
will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness

and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of
                   peace. (Luke, 1:78-79)

But because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy,
made us alive—it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians,

                   2:4-5)

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered.
You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the
Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and
                   mercy. (James, 5:11)

... With the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all
                   wisdom and understanding. (Ephesians, 1:7-8)
