The toll of the communist sav-
agery in the time of Lenin and
Stalin:

The shooting of tens of
thousands of hostages detained
without trial and the killing of
hundreds of thousands of peas-
ants and workers who rebelled in
1918-1922;

The famine of 1922 leading
to the death of 5 million people;

The forced exile of the Cos-
sacks living in the Don region in
1920;

The killing of tens of thou-
sands of people in concentration

camps in 1918-1930;

As a result of the famine deliberately engi-
neered by Lenin in 1921 and 1922, 29 million
inside the Soviet borders faced starvation. Five
million of these died for this reason. The total
casualties of the communist terror under Lenin
and Stalin are terrible indeed.
