the work of your hands. You will lend to many na tions but will bor row from
none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay at ten tion
to the com mands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and
care ful ly fol low them, you will al ways be at the top, nev er at the
bot tom. Do not turn aside from any of the com mands I give you to -
day, to the right or to the left, fol low ing oth er gods and serv ing
them. (Deuteronomy, 28:9-14)
When the fea tures of the so ci e ty to which do min ion is prom ised in
the Torah, are con sid ered as a whole, it ap pears that the peo ple on whom
Allah will be stow sov er eign ty will have the fol low ing qual i ties:
* Living in Allah's path,
* Turning to Allah in all ways,
* Scrupulously obey ing all His com mand ments,
* Loving Allah,
* Fearing Him,
* Ascribing no equals to Allah,
* Remaining loy al and faith ful to Him,
* Trusting in Allah,
* Taking pleas ure from be lief in Allah,
* Doing good deeds, and
* Being hum ble.
The do min ion in the Torah is that of
the mor al val ues of the true faith, of
which be liev ers have
