WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM TORAH
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among
the na tions what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him;
tell of all His won der ful acts. Glory in His ho ly name; let the
hearts of those who seek the Lord re joice. (1 Chronicles, 16:8-10)
... They were al so to stand ev ery morn ing to thank and praise
the Lord. They were to do the same in the even ing. (1 Chron-
icles, 23:30)
It is good to praise the Lord and make mu sic to Your name, O
Most High, to pro claim Your love in the morn ing and Your
faith ful ness at night, to the mu sic of the ten-stringed lyre and
the mel o dy of the harp. (Psalms, 92:1-3)
Rejoice in the Lord, you who are right eous, and praise His ho -
ly name. (Psalms, 97:12)
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known
among the na tions what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise
to Him; tell of all His won der ful acts. (Psalms, 105:1-2)
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love en dures for -
ev er. (Psalms, 136:1)
... "I will praise You, O Lord. Surely God is my sal va tion; I
will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength
and my song; He has be come my sal va tion." In that day you
will say: "Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make
known among the na tions what He has done, and pro claim
that His name is ex alt ed." (Isaiah, 12:1-4)
May the peo ples praise You, O God; may all the peo ples
praise You. May the na tions be glad and sing for joy, for You
rule the peo ples just ly and guide the na tions of the earth.
