WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
to me?... For You have de liv ered me from death and my feet
from tum bling, that I may walk be fore God in the light of life.
(Psalms, 56:10-13)
And Asa called to the Lord his God and said, "Lord, there is
no one like You to help the pow er less against the mighty.
Help us, O Lord our God, for we re ly on You, and in Your
name we have come against this vast ar my. O Lord, You are
our God..." (2 Chronicles, 14:11)
Even though some one is pur su ing you to take your life, the
soul of my Lord shall be kept, as in the bun dle of the liv ing
by the Lord your God. But the lives of your en e mies He will
hurl away as from the pock et of a sling. (1 Samuel, 25:29)
Have no fear of sud den dis as ter or of the ru in that over takes
the wick ed, for the Lord will be your con fi dence and will
keep your foot from be ing snared. (Proverbs, 3:25-26)
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do
to me? The Lord is with me; He is my help er... It is bet ter to
take ref uge in the Lord than to trust in man... I was push ed
back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is
my strength and my praise; He has be come my sal va tion.
(Psalms, 118:6-9, 13-14)
... Trust in the Lord—He is their help and shield. You who
fear Him, trust in the Lord—He is their help and shield.
(Psalms, 115:9, 11)
He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is stead fast,
trust ing in the Lord. His heart is se cure, he will have no fear...
(Psalms, 112:7-8)
