For the Lord God is a Sun and shield; the Lord be stows fa vor
and hon or; no good thing does He with hold from those whose
walk is blame less. O Lord Almighty, bless ed is the man who
trusts in You. (Psalms, 84:11-12)
Then they would put their trust in God and would not for get
His deeds but would keep His com mands. They would not be
like their fore fa thers—a stub born and re bel lious gen er a tion,
whose hearts were not loy al to God, whose spir its were not
faith ful to Him. (Psalms, 78:7-8)
In You, O Lord, I have tak en ref uge... Be my strength of ref uge,
to which I can al ways go... You are my strength and my for -
tress. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wick ed, from
the grasp of evil and cru el men. For You have been my hope, O
Sovereign Lord, my con fi dence since my youth. From birth I
have re lied on You; You brought me forth from my moth er's
womb. I will ev er praise You. I have be come like a por tent to
many, but You are my strong ref uge. (Psalms, 71:1-7)
Have no fear of sud den dis as ter or of the ru in that over takes
the wick ed, for the Lord will be your con fi dence... (Proverbs,
3:25-26)
Have I not com mand ed you? Be strong and cour a geous. Do
not be ter ri fied; do not be dis cour aged, for the Lord your God
will be with you wher ev er you go. (Joshua, 1:9)

The Lord Himself goes be fore you and will be with you; He
