WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH






                             When I felt se cure, I said, "I will nev er be shak en."
                        (Psalms, 30:6)

                     But the meek will in her it the land and en joy great peace.
                     (Psalms, 37:11)

                     If you fal ter in times of troub le, how small is your strength!
                     (Proverbs, 24:10)

                     Do not fret be cause of evil men or be en vi ous of those who do
                     wrong... Be still be fore the Lord and wait pa tient ly for Him;
                     do not fret when men suc ceed in their ways, when they car ry
                     out their wick ed schemes... Refrain from an ger and turn from
                     wrath; do not fret—it leads on ly to evil. (Psalms, 37:1, 7-8)


                     Do not fret be cause of evil men or be en vi ous of the wick ed, for
                     the evil man has no fu ture hope, and the lamp of the wick ed will
                     be snuffed out. (Proverbs, 24:19-20)

                                  The right eous man is res cued from troub le and
                                    it comes on the wick ed in stead. (Proverbs, 11:8)

                                  When you are in dis tress and all these things
                                 have hap pened to you, then in lat er days you will
                                re turn to the Lord your God and obey Him.
                               (Deuteronomy, 4:30)
