Eating the Flesh of Dead Animals
Is Prohibited

He must not eat any thing found dead or torn by wild an i -
mals, and so be come un clean through it. I am the Lord. The
priests are to keep My re quire ments... (Leviticus, 22:8-9)

The priests must not eat any thing, bird or an i mal, found
dead or torn by wild an i mals. (Ezekiel 44:31)

Do not eat any thing you find al ready dead... (Deuteronomy,
14:21)

Anyone, wheth er na tive-born or al ien, who eats any -
thing found dead or torn by wild an i mals... will be
cer e mo ni al ly un clean... (Leviticus, 17:15)
