peo ple and they will walk like blind men, be cause they have
sinned against the Lord... Neither their sil ver nor their gold
will be able to save them on the day of the Lord's wrath...

Alas for that day! For the day of the Lord is near; it will come
like de struc tion from the Almighty. (Joel, 1:15)
