TYING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Tie two overlapping hui ling knots to form a
hexagonal love knot. See the instructions on
page 94, Fun with Chinese Knotting.
2. For the necklace loop, fold a cord and tie a
button knot, leaving a loop for hook-up. Use one
cord as the axis and twist the other around it to
thicken the necklace loop. At various points along
the hoop, tie a double connection knot. Alternate
the cords as axis and repeat the process. Hook
up the love knot formation with the necklace
loop and tie a round brocade knot followed by
a button knot in the center.
