TYING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using the hui ling knotting technique, first tie the
top hui ling knot. On completion of the outer side,
take another cord to tie the inner side and the round
brocade knot within it.Tighten the knot once it is
completed to save on cord.
2. Use the cord ends on the outer side to complete
the last corner of the first hui ling knot. Then, pull the
cord ends through the inner side of the first hui ling
knot into the big central hui ling knot and separately
complete both inner sides of this big knot. Use the
cord ends to make the inner sides and the central
round brocade knot of the hui ling knots on the left
and right of the central knot.
3. Pull the cord ends from the left and right hui ling
knots back into the big central one and complete
its inner sides and the big round brocade knot, then
complete the last hui ling knot.
4. Fold another long cord and tie a button knot.
Leave a loop for hook-up. Use one cord as the axis
and twist the other one around it to thicken the
necklace loop. At a suitable length, tie three consecu-
tive double connection knots. Then alternate the
cords as axis and repeat the thickening process.
Hook up the hui ling knot formation and finally tie
a button knot.
5. Set beads in the round brocade knots.
