This knot formation should be hung freely to emphasize its body,
58 which is made from a 3D pan chang knot. Some of the outer loops can
be embellished with red threads to stiffen them and make the knot formation
more striking.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Tie a button knot followed by a pan chang knot. Pull out the cord sections in
the body of the pan chang knot and embellish them with red threads.
2.To make the main knot formation, tie a 3D button knot on the top and bottom
part.Then tie a double connection knot above and below each 3D button knot.
Right in the center is the pagoda-shaped modified pan chang knot. Use its outer
loop and the cord sections of its knot body, together with the outer loops from
the cloverleaf knots extended from the top and bottom 3D button knots, to tie
some more cloverleaf knots.Tie separately some round brocade knots and other
cloverleaf knots on the outer loops of the main knot body as well as on the cord
sections of its knot body for decorative effect.
3. Break the cord into individual threads and add some red threads to form a
tassel.
