The Face Behind.... JULY2020
Hi everyone, I’m Jaz - the face behind So naturally when it came to weaning Leo I
“I love @minimonkeymeals - and this is my husband was so excited to give him different foods

creating gorgeous baby boy Leo who is now 10.5 see how much Leo enjoyed to try new
months old! A lot bigger than in this picture, - flavours and textures. I love creating
healthy meals time really flys with the little ones doesn’t it? healthy meals and bakes for him to enjoy.
As time went on, baby friendly family meals
and bakes.” I’ve always loved cooking and baking. Since a became a thing, so we could all eat the same
very young age some of my happiest - because who has time to cook multiple
memories are in the kitchen cooking and different meals!
baking with my Mum and my Nan.
I decided to make my Instagram page
(@minimonkeymeals) after hearing lots of
mums at baby groups and various places
saying they were struggling with ideas or
just didn’t have time to make healthy
meals. I focus a lot on quick easy and
simple recipes, lots of which can be batch
cooked and kept in the freezer for days
when you are short on time or just don’t
feel like cooking!
Not only do I post recipes but Leo’s daily
meals are shared through my stories too
for ideas of balance meals and snacks for
the little ones plus our BLW experiences.
As well as meals I do lots of healthy baking
too. I try and make most of mine refined
sugar free so Leo can enjoy them too but
trust me they are just as tasty and a nice
guilt free treat for us adults!
I am always quick to respond to my
messages if you have any questions or
need any advice. My goal is to help other
mummies and daddies to feed their babies
(and themselves!) easy healthy nutritious
meals even if they are short on time!
Here’s the recipe to my mini oat filled
bites perfect as part of a breakfast or even
a snack! Four yummy flavours to choose
from - cherry bakewell, coconut, peanut
butter and banana, and our favourite in
this house strawberries and cream! So
deliciously chewy and packed with flavour.
These take hardly anytime to make and
can be frozen for one month too, they
don’t have to be mini they work just as
nicely bigger just use a normal sized
muffin tin instead. They can also easily be
gluten/egg and dairy free so perfect for
little ones with allergies!
