Answer the questions:

4. How can people become more receptive?
Next, focus on interests, not positions. People are rarely (редко) difficult just
for the sake of it (только ради того, чтобы казаться сложными в общении).
There’s always a good reason (причина) behind their position, such as their
values (ценности), responsibilities (обязанности) or culture. The likelihood
(вероятность) is that they will be more receptive (восприимчивы) to your
point of view (точке зрения), if you show them that you’re aware (вы в
курсе) of these factors.
