                  FUNDING PROCESS


                  For all regional events, it is necessary to complete
                  a funding form to outline what funding your event
                  needs and how this is being covered. It is important
                  for the management team to understand who is
                  supporting your region and assists us with forecast
                  budgets. This is a requirement even if no money
                  goes through Dairy Women’s Network.

                  If a partner or other organisation wants
                  to contribute funding towards your
                  event:
                  The easiest funding process for all to manage is to
                  get agreement from partners/sponsors of your event
                  to pick up a specific cost so that the invoice goes
                  straight to them from either the caterer, the venue,
                  the presenter or anything else that has a direct cost.

                  However, this is not always practical, and may
                  require the funds to be collected by the office
                  and costs offset against this pooled funding. This
                  requires the office to invoice the organisations
                  providing you with sponsorship so that money is
                  accounted for correctly.

                  What you need to do:
                   1. Provide this information on the Funding Form
                     – this should be completed as early as possible
                     and can be updated as more sponsors and new
                     information needs to be added
