Leaving from Dedham . . .
0.0 mi 51.9589, 0.9934 Take the B1029 from the centre of the village back to the A12.
1.4 mi 51.9719, 0.9831 Merge on to the A12 s/p “Ipswich 10 / Flatford 3”.
Otherwise, if you have not been to Dedham and are approaching on the A12:
1.5 mi 51.9870, 1.0076 Leave the A12 s/p “Flatford / Raydon / Holton St Mary”.
At the exit itself the s/post says “Hadleigh / East Berholt / Colchester”.
After leaving the motorway turn l. following a sign “East Bergholt / Flatford / B1070”.
51.9888, 1.0057 Turn r on to the B1070 s/posted “Notley End Park / Hadleigh B1070” and “Holton
St Mary”.
Leaving from Flatford . . .
51.9874, 1.0093 You’ll come out of Flatford on the one way road. Follow the blue arrows. That will
take you back to East Bergholt. Follow signs to “Ipswich A12”, but you will come up to a T
intersection where there is absolutely no indication of which way to turn. Turn left, cross
underneath the A12 and turn r. to merge on to the A12.
