Bury St Eds A1302”

From the r/bout, cross back under the A14 and take the 3rd exit (traffic lights) s/p “Bury St
Edmunds A134 . . . ”

Pass underneath a railway overbridge and at the next r/bout (traffic lights) take the 1st exit on to
Northgate St. Note: Not the “Town Centre” exit.

Follow Northgate St to the far end.

There’s a car park a short distance along on the right.

To leave the centre of the town, continue along the road that brought you in, past St Edmundsbury
Cathedral. At the far end of the abbey block St Mary’s Church will be on your left.

The Greene King Visitor Centre is over to the r. as you turn left at that point. To get to it, circle that
block on the one-way system.

To continue out of town, follow the signs to “Sudbury (A134)”. At the far end of Southgate St is
large grassed r/bout. Take the 2nd exit “Sudbury A134”. That will take you back to the A14.

Otherwise, giving Bury St Edmunds a miss . . .

Remain on the A134.

“Lavenham / Cockfield / A1141”.

Explore the town and when you are ready to leave, continue on the A1141. At the far end of the
town it turns left on to Water St, s/posted on the right “Hadleigh 9 / Brent Eleigh 2”.

Pass through Brent Eleigh and Monk’s Eleigh on the A1141. In Monk’s Eleigh turn r. following
